How does the order process work?

  1. When you see an item that you want to buy, simply click on the ”Add to Cart” button and the item will be added to the shopping cart.

  2. On your Shopping Cart screen, select any available options for the items you have ordered (i.e. quantity, ring size, stone color, etc.), choose the method of shipping you prefer, choose the credit card you want to use, and check the box for different "Bill To" and Ship To" addresses if applicable.  Then click on the "Update Cart" button.  Recheck your order, and if everything is correct, click on the "Finalize This Order" button.
     

    • Note:  To remove an item from your cart, change the quantity
      to "
      0
      " and click the "Update Cart" button. 

  1. On the Finalize Order screen, fill out your name, billing address, different shipping address (if applicable), and credit card information

  2. Once you have reviewed your order, click on the “Submit This Order” button to submit your order.

  3. Your receipt with order number will appear on your screen.  Please make a note of this order number.  You will also receive an automatic confirmation of your order by e-mail.

Are credit card transactions on www.ellielance.com safe?

Absolutely! In fact, it is statistically safer to use your credit card over the Internet than in a restaurant or department store. We have taken every precaution to make your transactions secure. Our Internet site is built on the ShopSite system, which utilizes industry-standard security measures, including SSL (Secure Sockets Layer), an encryption technology that works with Netscape Navigator, Microsoft Internet Explorer and AOL’s browser so that only Ellie Lance Creations can read a buyer’s personal information. All account information submitted to us is safely isolated from unauthorized Internet access. Credit cards are not charged until the buyer’s items are shipped.

Does Ellie Lance Creations charge sales tax?

Sales tax will only apply to orders being shipped to locations within Texas, which is where we are located.  Sales tax is not charged to orders shipped to any other location in the U.S. or the rest of the world.

How can I pay for my order?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Checks in U.S. dollars are also accepted for mail orders. Orders paid by check will not be processed until the funds have been verified.  If you are sending a check, please make the check payable to Ellie Lance Creations.

Will I receive confirmation for my order?

Yes, you will receive an automated order confirmation via e-mail once your order is placed. If you have not received your order confirmation within 24 hours, please let us know at orders@ellielance.com.  We will make every effort to respond within one business day regarding the status of your order.

What if I need to return my order?

Ellie Lance Creations guarantees 100% satisfaction with your purchase. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, you may return your purchase within 30 days to:

Please return items in original box or similar container (no envelopes, please). Include your original receipt or printout of your emailed order confirmation, the reason for the return and we'll exchange it, give you credit for it, or refund your money (excluding shipping charges).  Make sure you insure your package on the return for the proper delivery. Do you take international orders?

Yes, we do accept international orders. You may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you.

Shipping charges for international orders cannot be calculated automatically.  For orders shipped to any location outside of the 48 contiguous United States, we charge the actual cost of shipping.  We will email you with the actual shipping charges, for your approval, before processing your order.

How do I attach the charms to my bracelet?

Ellie Lance Creations recommends all charms be permanently attached to bracelets by soldering (or split rings which are available upon request).  We offer soldering at no charge for charms purchased from Ellie Lance Creations.  If you purchase a charm bracelet on our website, you will see a prompt explaining Ellie Lance’s complimentary soldering of charms before shipment

If you decide to have us solder your new Ellie Lance charms (at no charge) to a bracelet you already have, you must send us the bracelet and charms.  Just include your credit card information to pay for shipping and necessary insurance to return it to you.  The minimum return shipping fee is $6 and includes $50 of insurance.  If your bracelet requires additional insurance, tell us what you want it insured for and you will be charged $3.00 for each additional $100 insured value.  If you also have other charms to be soldered that are not from Ellie Lance we will be happy to solder them for $3 per charm.  Ship bracelet, charms, credit card information and return shipping instructions to:

Soldering is the most permanent way to attach charms, but all metal is subject to fatigue and the charms should be checked regularly to prevent loss.

I noticed some items can be engraved.  Do you provide this service?

No, not at this time.  We suggest you contact a small independent jeweler in your area to inquire about engraving.
